Application no-entry exemption for beach entrances for disabled persons

General

At most beach entrances, a no-entry regulation applies to motorised vehicles. Within the municipality of Schagen, disabled persons may qualify for an exemption to this rule on presentation of a valid disabled person's parking card or a comparable European card. This exemption means that disabled persons also have access to the beach. They can apply for an exemption for the beach entrances 15 in Sint Maartenszee and 17 in Petten.

An exemption for passenger transport may also be requested on behalf of a disabled person. For example: by a family member. This exemption may only be used in conjunction with the disabled card and in the presence of the card holder.

You can apply for either a temporary or a long-term exemption. The temporary exemption is valid for up to one month. Apply for a temporary exemption in the form of a day, week or one-month card by calling us on (0224) 210 400.
